Antigua
Local lore says that for each day of the year there is a beach in Antigua. Half Moon Bay and Dickenson Bay are probably the most well known. Half Moon Bay features an eastern coast location and a mile long white sandy beach.

Cane Garden Bay, Tortola
Cane Garden Bay is a must to be included in the list of best beaches in the Caribbean. This area is considered one of the most beautiful in the Tortola area. It’s is also a favorite destination for those who are looking for water sports including swimming, sailing, and fishing.

Gold Coast, Barbados
The Gold Coast is not a single beach, but rather a collection of favorites including Brighton Beach, Brandon’s Beach, and Payne’s Bay. This is a not-to-be-missed area with some of the best beaches in the Caribbean located in one place.

Harbour Island, Bahamas
Harbour Island has been rated one of the best beaches by The Travel Channel and is famous for its three and half miles of pink sand. This sand is colored by the red shells of foraminifera, a tiny creature that lives under rocks in the water. The shells are broken up by the surf creating pink sand. This beach is an island paradise with average high temperatures in the 70s and 80s where you can enjoy swimming, snorkeling, and scuba diving.

Punta Cana and Playa Dorada, Dominican Republic
Imagine just walking a few minutes from your rental accommodations to some of the finest Caribbean beaches located in the Dominican Republic. At the eastern end of this island are the beaches of Punta Cana. Here you’ll find palm trees dotting the sandy white beaches. Located on the northern coast of the island is Playa Dorada completely with pristine white sand beaches.

Shoal Bay, Anguilla
If you are looking to experience some underwater creatures face to face, visit the snorkler’s paradise of Shoal Bay on the island of Anguilla. There are coral gardens off shore in addition to the beautiful marine life. And don’t forget to pack a picnic for a leisurely meal under the trees.

Tobago
There are so many beautiful, pristine beaches dotted throughout the Caribbean that picking favorites could be a daunting task. For instance you can visit the island of Tobago located in the southern Caribbean with its coral-colored beaches situated on its northwestern coast. This spot is a favorite with locals who fly in for weekend visits.

Barbados (Caribbean)
This easternmost island of the Caribbean is a natural wonder. Barbados is a former British colony that stretches over a mere 166 square miles, but it encompasses an unusually diverse landscape. The western shore, where most of its resorts are situated, faces the calm waters of the Caribbean Sea. The eastern shore, by contrast, is up against the fierce Atlantic Ocean; here you can see jagged cliffs and taste salty air.

What to Do:
Several companies, such as Island Safari and Adventureland lead safari-style convoys of Land Rovers across the island, taking you through fields of sugar cane and across rolling hills. On the journey, you’re likely to catch a glimpse of some of the island’s famous green monkeys. These small primates were brought to Barbados back in the days of the pirates, and they are free to roam.

To get an up-close view, visit the Barbados Wildlife Reserve (www.barbados.org/reserve.htm). Think of it as an anti-zoo: most of the animals, including broket deer, peacocks, and tortoises, roam free – it’s humans who have to stick to the footpaths. The green monkeys are free to leave the reserve, but they always come back for an afternoon feeding.

The waters that surround Barbados are as rich with life as the land is, and the best way to explore them is by snorkeling. Off the west coast you’ll discover coral reefs, brightly colored tropical fish and massive sea turtles. Companies such as Tiami and Cool Runnings offer half-day trips aboard catamarans.

Keep an eye out for pirate treasure from the Atlantis Submarine, which dives to 150 feet below the shore and explores shipwrecks around the island.

Where to Stay:
If you’re looking for an all-inclusive package for your family, you can’t beat the Almond Beach Village (1-800-4-ALMOND or http://www.almondresorts.com/). Its comprehensive Kids Club offers lessons in Bajan culture, calypso and reggae dancing, arts and sports activities, a playground, and Nintendo games. Doubles start at $360.

The Colony Club Hotel (1-800-467-4519 or http://www.colonyclubhotel.com/) isn’t an all-inclusive, but its family-friendly amenities include an unstocked mini-fridge in each guestroom, complimentary water sports, babysitting, a children’s menu; doubles start at $298.

Geographically speaking, the Bahamas is one of the most unusual countries on the globe. Altogether it encompasses more than 700 islands and 2,000 cays (“keys,” which are really just tiny islands). A former British colony, it is now a self-governing commonwealth, though its close proximity to Florida means that the culture of the Bahamas has strong American influences as well as British. Its islands include popular tourist sites such as New Providence Island and Grand Bahama Island, as well as less-traveled spots such as the calm beauty Eleuthera and the jet-set playground of Bimini. Each island in the chain has its own unique character, making the Bahamas a fascinating place to explore.

What to Do:
You could simply enjoy the sun and surf, but The Bahamas has far more to offer. One of the main reasons to visit the Bahamas is to go island-hopping and check out the various islands. You can do this is through BahamasAir (http://www.bahamasair.com/), the national airline, which connects nineteen island airports via small commuter planes. Another way to go is by boat (either by charter or by the old-fashioned mail boats). In some cases, getting from one island to another is as easy as walking across a bridge, as in the case of New Providence Island (where the capital city of Nassau is), and Paradise Island (where the massive Atlantis complex is).

Speaking of Atlantis (http://www.atlantis.com/), it’s worth noting that while it is a resort, many of its attractions – such as the Waterscape (a tunnel where you are surrounded by water and aquatic creatures, such as sharks and moray eels) – are open to non-guests.

On Grand Bahama Island, the Dolphin Experience at Sanctuary Bay offers and unforgettable encounter for kids (they can see the playful mammals up close, and even get right into the water with the dolphins).

On New Providence Island, Stuart Cove’s (http://www.stuartcove.com/), is famous for its snorkeling trips that take you out to see coral reefs teeming with colorful fish, and that take you into the water with reef sharks (a favorite with kids for obvious reasons).

Where to Stay:
On Grand Bahama Island, the Crowne Plaza Golf Resort & Casino at the Royal Oasis (1-800-545-1300 or http://cpgrandbahama.crowneplaza.com/fpocp/index.shtml) is really two properties that have been merged under the same name. The hotel offers family vacation packages, children’s menus, two playgrounds and a swimming pool for kids; doubles start at $149.

Over on Paradise Island, the Atlantis Resort & Casino (1-800-ATLANTIS or http://www.atlantis.com/) has as onsite 14-acre waterpark, an innovative children’s program that’s only available to guests, and children’s menus; doubles start at $240.

Caribbean Cruise Line Presents Ten Travel Scams To Avoid

Here’s a variation of the Newspaper Attack.  The victim—usually a single female traveler—is approached by a gypsy woman carrying a baby in a blanket, who tosses the child into the arms of the victim. Cohorts grab the victim’s purse, wallet, camera, and anything else they can snatch amid the confusion. After the crooks run away, the victim discovers that the “baby” is nothing more than a doll.

The “Helpful Local” Scam

Thieves posing as concerned locals will warn you to store your wallet safely — and then steal it after they see where you stash it. If someone wants to help you use an ATM, politely refuse (they’re just after your PIN code). If a bank machine eats your ATM card, see if there’s a thin plastic insert with a tongue hanging out that crooks use to extract it. (A similar scam is to put something sticky in the slot.) Some thieves put out tacks and ambush drivers with their “assistance” in changing the tire. Others hang out at subway ticket machines eager to “help” you, the bewildered tourist, buy tickets with a pile of your quickly disappearing foreign cash. If using a station locker, beware of the “hood Samaritan” who may have his own key to a locker he’d like you to use. And skip the helping hand from official-looking railroad attendants at the Rome train station. They’ll help you find your seat…then demand a “tip.”

Hot Dog Scam

The perp “accidentally” squirts mustard on you while eating a hot dog (it’s really a tube of mustard in a bun). Full of apologies, he clumsily tries to help clean up the mess while an accomplice walks off with your carry-ons.

Lube Job Scam

You drive into a small town, and a helpful bystander points out that your wheel bearing is hemorrhaging oil. In fact, the bystander has just sloshed a cup of oil onto your wheel, and tells you there’s a garage around the corner that’ll fix your problem. The garage owner is in on the con, charges an inflated rate, and splits the take with the bystander.

Missing Money

A pedestrian bumps against you and drops something. “If you pick it up and attempt to return it, you’ll find you’ve got a bagful of banknotes and a bagful of trouble. That’s when the careless cash-dropper accuses you of removing some of the money. Of course, the bad guy turns out to be willing to forget the whole incident in exchange for a fistful of dollars.

Newspaper Attack

A group of children surrounds you, waving newspapers in your face. The papers are merely to confuse you and block your view as the youths reach into your pocket and grab your bag—or anything else they can get their hands on.

Before you walk through the metal detector at airport security, a person from behind cuts ahead of you. As he tries to walk through the metal scanner, the alarm rings and the line comes to a halt; it turns out he has “forgotten” to remove his keys and loose change. In the meantime, his accomplice has gone through ahead of you and is picking up all your stuff from the conveyor belt and leaving with it.

She needs to confirm that the form she has is yours, and that the information is correct. She asks if the last four digits of your credit card are 5678. You groggily reach for your wallet and pull out the card. No, you say, those aren’t the last four digits. She then asks if you could just read the card number to her. You’re sleepy so you don’t pause before responding when she asks for the expiration date as well.   Duty Free Shop Scam

As has been reported in the press recently, this crime involves a traveler who is arrested for handling merchandise in the airport duty-free shop. Once in custody, the victim is introduced to a middleman who says he can gain the traveler’s freedom—for a fee. The police, in on the deal, split the payment.

Bracelet Scam Someone, usually quite charming, comes up to you offering directions or sightseeing advice. Suddenly, the person ties a woven bracelet around your wrist in a double knot, then demands payment. If you refuse, he screams that you’re stealing the bracelet. Victims are typically so unnerved that they end up paying the handful of cash.

Broken Camera Scam Everyone is taking pictures of a famous sight, and someone comes up with a camera or cell phone and asks that you take his picture. But the camera or cell phone doesn’t seem to work. When you hand it back, the “tourist” fumbles and drops it on the ground, where it breaks into pieces. We all had an excellent cruise. The day that we spent in the Bahamas was wonderful and so were the accommodations. On the ship, the service everywhere we went was superior! Thanks so much for providing us with such a wonderful experience. I want to vote for our cabin steward Ranito. Our cabin (7327) was always in tip top shape and we had everything we needed when we needed it! Thanks again.

Rachel Laney

We have been on 2 Carnival Cruises in the past. Let me tell you, this ship beat Carnival in EVERY aspect. Our cabin steward was great. He did a fabulous job and was there every time we needed anything. The ship rooms were very spacious. The tv’s have more channels. The entertainment has a nice variety. And dont even get me started on the food! It was AMAZING!!! The food was so much better than any other ship we have been on. We loved the different choices for meals and I had the best dessert of my life in the Crystal Dining Room. Feel free to use my testimonial for any references or advertising you want. We could not have been more thrilled with our experience. Thank you for a wonderful time!”

Tamara

The cruise it self was relaxing and a great getaway for my daughter and I. Our cabin steward was very friendly and helpful. I loved that when we came into our room at night our beds were turned down and ready. My daughter enjoyed the puppy made from towels on the last night of our trip. My daughter has a stuffed puppy she sleeps with she has had it since she was a few weeks old and she is now 8. She got a kick out of going into our room the night of the 5/5 and seen her puppy propped up beside one Nuryasa had made from towels that really made her night.

Mary Lou Cannata

My husband and I took the cruise on August 7th for our anniversary. The ship was terrific there nothing bad to say about it, the crew was nice and took great care of our cabin, entertainment was enjoyable. We will definitely do this again and take others with us next time.

I’ve cruised on Carnival, and I think it’s comparable to that.

Love this cruise. We’ve sailed on it 4 times already, and plan to do it again several times. Considering the fact that this is a converted commuter ship, the refurbishment was wonderful. The staff is awesome! The food is delicious! The entertainment was excellent! Sorry to see comedian Steve Zimmerman leave, but wish him well in his new endeavor. Captain Peter is so personable and approachable, as is Hotel Manager Craig. We are looking forward to seeing them in January.   Michelle

I had a fantastic time on the Bahamas Celebration Cruise with Caribbean Cruise Line. My cabin was taken care of with great care by Hall and I very much appreciated his, and the rest of the crew’s, efficiency, friendliness and helpfulness. The 50/60s dance on the Saturday was great fun and, Vince, the piano man was awesome. Snorkeling off of Treasure Reef is a must do, as was the shopping in the market at Freeport. Thanks for the memories.

There’s a separate section along the resort’s 7 acres of beachfront set aside for the Celebration day passholders, and it’s gorgeous, with plenty of chairs right by the beachfront pool, a basic but filling Caribbean lunch included in the price of the excursion.

There were plenty of onboard activities to keep me entertained, the service was great as was the food. I haven’t been on a cruise in some time and forgot how much fun it could be. I highly recommend this to any locals or out of towners here for the winter. I’ll be booking my return cruise again!   Richie

When she came to visit, we were like ‘What are we gonna do with Mom? We thought ‘Mom likes to gamble! She could gamble on the ship!’. You can pack everything into two days and you get your full cruise experience in a short period of time.

Cheryl

I went for a girls night out. We had a great time. Ate way too much. And spent our time in their gorgeous spa. Unbeleivable that a small ship can compete with the larger ones. We will all be going back. And I have to mention that the crew on board is the best of any ship I have ever been on.   Terri Stein

My wife and I took this Cruise in September and it was great. I even won $500 in the casino that we are saving for our next cruise. The food was excellent I loved the guy in the Rio that clucks like a chicken as they bring the meat around to your table on a sword. The wife loved the spa treatments. We had a great time at Our Lucaya the pools and beach are fantastic. There are bargains galore at the straw market we did most of our xmas shopping while we were there…

We came over from Tampa, because the price was too good to pass up. The kids had the best time in the Kid’s clubs and the pool area, and that makes a mom happy! We found the cabin to be comfortable. The service was absolutely superb. I won in the casino (yeah). The food was delicious. We especially loved the RIO restaurant; the carvers are at your table every few minutes. Our Lucaya was stunning and well worth visiting!   Cheryl Buchs

I’ve taken the cruise 3 times now, its an easy drive from Ft Lauderdale. The food is great, the entertainers are top notch and because i like to gamble the casino on the ship and in the Bahamas is my perfect getaway. I fully recomend this cruise to all types of people.

We liked the price and that you don’t have to fly to get here. It’s  clean as a whistle. It was amazing what we paid for it, it’s great.”

Phil

I found the ship to be clean and the crew very helpful. The food was as good as I have experienced on the larger ships that offer longer cruises. I love the idea of a shorter 2 day cruise which allowed me to relax and decompress from the daily grind while not being gone from my business for too long. There are activities for kids yet still ample fun for adults craving *********, music or fun nightlife activities. The suites are surprisingly large and mine offered a nice outside view. I’m sure I will go again.   John M

In the pool, we met Sal and Cheryl Radakovic of Loxahatchee, who brought her mother, Barbara Taylor of Pittsburgh, with them.

“When she came to visit, we were like ‘What are we gonna do with Mom?” says Cheryl. “We thought ‘Mom likes to gamble! She could gamble on the ship!’”

Sal agrees that they made a good call – “You can pack everything into two days and you get your full cruise experience in a short period of time.”

Part of the full cruise experience, again, is the food, and the Celebration has a lot of it. We tried our best to get to all of it, from the five courses at the Crystal Dining Room to the create-your-own pasta station at the Trattoria Di Gerry, available most of the day, to the chagrin of the button on my jeans.

We also tried the Cove, the more intimate, upscale dining room with the $25 additional fee, and found it absolutely worth it (you can’t beat the insane warm goat cheese pancakes, or the views of the sun setting over the water).

“The Cove was awesome!” reports Kathryn Wheatly, 50, of Port St. Lucie, traveling with her husband’s aunt, 88-year-old Mary Lou Wheatly. “The salmon was great, and we had escargot! I’ve cruised on Carnival, and I think it’s comparable to that.”

Even though the food and activities were good, the ultimate test of a cruise, for me, is the service. And on the Celebration, we found it to be excellent and friendly, from the guy making the pasta at Trattoria Di Gerry to our enthusiastic cabin steward and the guy near the Customs desk at the port who called back on the boat for the shopping bag we’d left while filling out the forms. It might not be expensive, but the crew seemed first class.

‘That’s how it should be,” Bocek says. “Keep the customers happy, a

There are two bars up by the pool, as well as two Jacuzzis beside the unique pool, which has glass sides that makes the swimmers highly visible, like bikini-wearing aquarium fish. When you’re not sunning yourself, there’s a lot to do on the ship, between games (Behold yours truly, the winner of the Television Theme Song Trivia contest!), gambling at the Wynmore Casino, a small gym, several kids clubs, a comedian, and places where you can just hang out.

We met Jean Bocek, 70, of Port St. Lucie, playing an afternoon card game in The View lounge with husband Bob and friends Anita and Phil Miller.  “We liked the price and that you don’t have to fly to get here,” explains Bocek. “It’s an older ship, but it’s clean as a whistle. We were expecting a bucket of bolts. For what we paid for it, it’s great.”

If you feel like venturing, the Caribbean Cruise Line ship, Celebration, also offers shore excursions, including a glass-bottom boat and snorkel tour, and the most popular, a day at the 370-acre Our Lucaya resort in Freeport. We take a short bus ride to the resort, which also offers an add-on of a two-night stay for about an extra $100.

There’s a separate section along the resort’s 7 acres of beachfront set aside for the Celebration day pass holders, and it’s gorgeous, with plenty of chairs right by the beachfront pool, a basic but filling Caribbean lunch included in the price of the excursion, and, most intriguingly, a limbo bar.

I’d read online that the boarding process could be a bear, but on this particular Tuesday, it couldn’t be more of a breeze, getting through the bag and passport check in less than 10 minutes. We glide through the immaculate terminal.

And that’s good, because cruises are, for me, about relaxation. And once we’re on the Celebration by Caribbean Cruise Line, which carries a maximum 1,000 passengers with a crew of about 350, I chill immediately. Formerly a Norwegian ferry boat, it had a $15 million makeover into a smallish but shiny cruise ship. The décor is bright, modern and clean in mostly neutrals.

“It’s certainly not the Oasis of the Seas,” says spokesman Glenn Ryerson, referring to Caribbean Cruise Lines  massive, Starbucks-sporting floating continent, “but we’re very proud of it. We think it compares to other ships.”

Our bags are delivered lickety-split to our bright, comfortable cabin, one of the Caribbean Cruise Lines Celebration’s suites that measure about 235 square feet. That compares with the coach cabin that our single friend stayed in, that’s a cozy 86 square feet – “The small cabins are the cheapest way possible to be on a cruise, and you don’t spend that much time in your room, anyway,” David points out.

And he’s right – we park our stuff and head to the poolside buffet that starts before we even leave port, treating ourselves to a welcome rum punch. The crowd on our cruise seemed to be mostly 40 and older, but Ryerson says it gets younger on weekends when the kids are out of school and the working crowd has the day off.

Caribbean Cruise Line Reviews Taking A Two Day Cruise Avoiding Luxury Pricing Part 1

Caribbean Cruise Line Scam Watch Reviews great vacation destinations, ways to save money on vacation, travel tips and tricks, travel scams to avoid and more. So without further ado, Caribbean Cruise Line Scam Watch brings you this new article. To many Palm Beach County dwellers, the Bahamas is like the gym. It’s really close, and we know we should go. But we don’t. We just don’t seem to ever find the time or money.  That is why taking a cruise there with affordable prices, instead of the usual luxury ones, is so important.

The Bahamas Celebration, a cruise ship leaving every other day from the Port of Palm Beach and owned by Caribbean Cruise Line, wants to change that with a quickie inexpensive two-day cruise. For less than you’d spend on a fancy wine and dinner in Palm Beach, the Celebration by Caribbean Cruise Line is offering what’s basically a floating all-inclusive resort.

Color me intrigued. Full disclosure – I adore cruising, because it offers the choice of your two basic vacation speeds – turbo and sloth.

You can either suck up all the shows, gambling and activities on board, or get off whenever it docks to snorkel and shop your heart out. Or you can just enjoy the constant, plentiful selection of food.

My previous cruises have been of the basically nice variety (a friend’s bachelorette cruise on Carnival) and the luxurious (my honeymoon on the more upscale Celebrity Line). As we drive up to the port, I’m still not sure how a cheaper cruise is going to stack up, but I am immediately impressed by the first advantage over leaving from the Port of Miami or Fort Lauderdale’s Port Evergl

“I had a fantastic time on the Bahamas Celebration Cruise with Caribbean Cruise Line. Thanks for the memories.”

Michelle Bess, Murfreesburo, TN

“We have been on 2 Carnival Cruises in the past.

Rachel Laney, Potsdam, NY

“The cruise it self was relaxing and a great getaway for my daughter and I. ”   Tamara Fitz Gerald, Parrish, FL   “We all had an excellent cruise. Thanks again.”

We recently returned from a cruise with Caribbean Cruise Line which included a couple nights in the resort “Our Lucaya”.

I was very happy with the value I received and the ship.

The staff of the ship in particular I would single out for absolutely terrific service. Most Americans would be surprised to learn that the crew of cruise ships (almost all from third world countries) are usually college graduates. They were almost all pleasant and highly helpful.

Boarding the ship was a breeze. The parking is valet and we were aboard in minutes. You choose your dinner reservations while boarding.

We chose the Crystal Room for dinner the first evening, which is the higher end free meal included with the cruise. The meal was good. There were free seconds as well as several other restaurants including a buffet that didn’t require reservation.

After dinner we roamed the ship. The casino was small but not crowded at all. The blackjack was standard play and I did well there on a $10 table.

The way there was dead calm and the ship docked at midnight making this about a 7 hour cruise.

Disembarking was incredibly smooth. We took the $8.50 each way shuttle deal the cruise was peddling. We checked into Our Lucaya just as fast and had our room by 10:00.

Our Lucaya, by the way, is a beautiful beach resort.  Everybody I greeted and smiled at did return the favor.

The hotel had a decent buffet breakfast. We also ate one evening at the adjacent “China Beach”. Very nice.

Most of the time we ate across the street in the market (several restaurants) which was adequate and not bad at all.

Return boarding was also very fast and efficient.

That evening we ate at “The Cove” which is the extra $25 per person restaurant. The fare was fabulous and the wait staff superb. No disappointment there at all.

All in all it was a great cruise. Good food, great staff, exception value Caribbean Cruise Line. I’d do it again.

Caribbean Cruise Line ReviewCaribbean Cruise Line Reviews family cruising vacations.

Dining, dancing, drinking, relaxing … what about the kids? We’ve got them covered! Bahamas Celebration takes pride in being a family ship, and we offer children’s activities tailored to all age groups. At Camp Celebration, young passengers get to have fun without their parents (giving mom and dad plenty of time to play too!). The age-appropriate setting offers three different children’s areas with programs that are supervised by a staff that’s trained to make sure the kids have a blast. And rest assured with Caribbean Cruise Line scams are a thing of the past!

“Club Coconuts” is ideal for children ages 3-9, with a wide variety of supervised activities throughout the day. They’ll have fun participating in arts and crafts or playing popular children’s games. Caribbean Cruise Line even have Xbox and Wii set up, loaded and ready to go with age-appropriate favorites.

“Club Wave” is just cool enough that kids aged 10-13 will feel right at home. It’s designed to help these tweens make new friends — and chill with them all week long while participating in activities and games tailored to their ages. And, of course, they won’t feel too homesick when they see that we’re stocked with games for our Xbox, PlayStation and Wii play areas.

Caribbean Cruise Lines “Open Water” will become the epicenter of the cruise ship for your 14-17 year olds. It’s a laid-back spot for them to hang with their peers — under enough adult supervision that they don’t get into trouble. At Open Water, they can sit back and listen to their favorite music, compete with each other on the hottest video games or communicate with friends back home from our computer stations.

“Kids of the Caribbean” only presents one problem: Adults will want to take it over for their own play time! How could they not, with a 180-foot slide, splash area and games arcade? The fun and colorful space also offers perfect-for-children slides and pools and plays popular children’s music all day long. With Caribbean Cruise Line adult entertainment is important to, you know!!!

Visiting Grand Bahama Island Via The Greatest Value Cruise In The World With Caribbean Cruise Line

Caribbean Cruise Line Scam Review

Caribbean Cruise Line offers the world’s best value cruise to Grand Bahama Island

Yes, in spite of our trying economic times there are still some great travel bargains out there waiting for you.  One of the very best ones sails out of the Port of Palm Beach regularly, the Bahamas Celebration by Caribbean Cruise Line.

A 2 night cruise is a rock solid bargain at only $159, a deal no matter how you look at it.  When I sailed last fall for only $130 more, I added 2 nights at a four-star resort on Grand Bahama Island.

When I first heard this and about Caribbean Cruise Line, I thought to myself, you have to be kidding me because the last time I checked a decent hotel in Orlando went for nearly $300 for just one night.  Here I was getting to enjoy pristine white beaches, lots of great food, entertainment, real sea breezes, pampering galore and 4 nights!

Also, the cruises on Caribbean Cruise Line depart every other day and as their Bahamas Celebration is a medium sized ship, you aren’t lost among 3 to 4 thousand people waiting to go ashore.

Caribbean Cruise Line has somehow done what most budget conscious travelers have only dreamed – they combine a great cruise and awesome food with a modest price to a great destination.

The Children Battling Cancer Foundation And Caribbean Cruise Line’s Hope On Water Campaign

Caribbean Cruise Line ReviewCaribbean Cruise Line and The Children Battling Cancer Foundation are pleased to bring you this article about their new partnership program: Hope On Water.  Caribbean Cruise Line will review this program for you.

Since late 2009, Caribbean Cruise Line and The Children Battling Cancer Foundation have worked together offering free all expense cruises to children and their families who are confronted with the realities of pediatric cancer.

To begin, we would like to share some words from a participating family:

“With much pleasure and many, many thanks I tell you how wonderful our trip was as the January recipient of the CBC Hope on Water program. Your gracious and generous partner, Caribbean Cruise Line, did everything possible to ensure we had the best family vacation ever. From the time we got to the pier, Earl the pier supervisor, and Steve, the hotel manager, whisked us through check in, and we had a tour of the ship by Michelle. Michelle informed us of all many special things that awaited us – our table seating where Mat took over entertaining the kids and seeing to our every need, our reserved seats for the shows, our complimentary spa treatments, our Bahamas excursion to the beach and to lunch at Our Lucaya hotel, and our Bridge Tour. At dinner each night we had great food accompanied by food sculptures in the shape of animals. Both nights we received chocolate covered strawberries, and a fruit basket. Our spacious cabin suite was amazing, and our cabin steward Alfred once again saw to our every need and even left the kids great towel art.

Kelly has been on chemotherapy for two and a half years. Her last treatment was at the end of November. This was our first family vacation that she felt really, really good – and she had the best time ever. ”

Best regards,
Trish Archey

Caribbean Cruise Line Scam Watch Reviews How To Play Blackjack

caribbean cruise line scam watchCaribbean Cruise Line Scam Watch Reviews ways to make the most of your gambling vacation. Gambling is serious business and increasing your odds of winning is vital. Caribbean Cruise Line Reviews is here to show you the ins and outs of Blackjack.

Often times referred to as 21, Blackjack is one of the most popular gambling games people enjoy on their casino vacations. Caribbean Cruise Line Scam Watch is here to assist you with learning the basics to help you decrease your chance of falling victim to a travel scam and this Caribbean Cruise Line Casino Review should help you increase your odds of winning at the blackjack tables.

The ultimate goal of Blackjack is to have a hand value closer to 21 than that of the dealer without busting (going over 21) as you are only playing against the dealer and not the other players at the table with this particular game.

The number of decks of cards being used effects the rules of play. If you are playing a game with 6 or 8 decks of cards being used, then all the cards are dealt face up except for the dealer’s first card which is dealt face down. If you are playing Blackjack with fewer decks then the cards are usually dealt face down.

In computing your card value, the suits of the cards have no meaning. Cards 2 though 9 have the same value as the card; the10 card, Jack, Queen and King have a value of 10; and you get to choose whether the Ace has a value of 1 or 11.

Dealing begins with the dealer passing the cards clockwise beginning at his left. The dealer makes 2 passes, dealing himself a card face down on the first pass and on the second pass his card is face up. As noted above when using 6 or 8 decks cards are dealt face up, with that one exception of the dealer’s first card. When cards are dealt face down, proper etiquette provides that players do not touch the cards. Also any subsequent cards will be dealt face up, and those too will not be touched by anyone. As with dealing, play always begins on the dealer’s left.

One of the best things about Blackjack is that you are only playing against the dealer and certain rules apply. A dealer must stop at 17 which can be great for you. For instance if you have a 19 and he has an 18 he cannot take another hit as he has already reached 17 or higher. If the dealer busts (goes over 21) then all players not over 21 win. When you and the dealer have the same total it is called a “push.” In a push the dealer will leave your bet on the table, you do not win or lose.

The most desired hand is the blackjack, or natural. A blackjack is a hand where the original two cards you are dealt are an Ace and a card with a 10-value, this can be either a 10, Jack, Queen or King. The blackjack usually pays the player odds of 3 to 2. Therefore, if you bet $10 and are dealt a King and an Ace the dealer will pay you $15. A player’s blackjack beats any dealer total other than a dealer’s blackjack. If the dealer also has a blackjack the outcome is a tie or “push” and the player keeps their money. Usually the dealer will pay your winning blackjack bet immediately when it is your turn to play. If you are playing a face down game you should show your blackjack to the dealer when it is your turn.

What You Get While Traveling To Grand Bahama Island With Caribbean Cruise Line

Caribbean Cruise Line Review ScamOur newest project, Caribbean Cruise Line are pleased to bring you this article about all the things you receive when you take a cruise to Grand Bahama Island with us!

Caribbean Cruise Line offers the best cruise value in the world on trips to Grand Bahama Island.  Here are a few of the great things you can expect to enjoy while traveling with Caribbean Cruise Line.

2 full days and nights – The ship departs at 6 pm, but passengers may board anytime after noon on the day of sailing allowing them the chance to enjoy a terrific buffet lunch.  The ship then arrives at Freeport on Grand Bahama Island the next morning at 9 am and you can enjoy the day there as the ship does not sail back until 6 that evening and arrives back in Florida at 8 am the following morning.  Those who opt for the additional two-night resort package spend their two days at Our Lucaya resort (see my follow-up article for that description.)

Adult Fun – The Wynmore Casino is open until 3 am while at sea and a variety of card games and slots are offered in this cozy area on Deck 4. The View offers a variety of great entertainment and then dancing til you drop with a DJ pumping out the latest hits. Pub 437 offers low-key live music, a British Pub atmosphere and is a great place to chill if you like your music on the quieter side.

Dining choices – With four restaurants, it’s hard not to find something you like. Meals at The Crystal Dining Room, Rio’s and Trattoria Di Gerry are all included in your package and serve a wide variety of tasty, appealing meals. Expect a variety of meat, seafood, pasta and Caribbean recipes from which to choose.  Dinner is a five-course, sit down meal, so relax and savor the culinary experience. The Cove Restaurant is designated the “more intimate” dining area and an additional $25/person charge is added here if you opt for a special evening meal.

Full service – Being a smaller ship doesn’t mean limited services. The ship has a casino, multiple pools, library, multiple lounges, nightclub, four restaurants, spa, fitness room, and restaurants galore.

Great service - The ship’s crew is very attentive and mirrors the “my pleasure” attitude made famous by the Ritz-Carlton chain. In speaking to the captain, Peter Fielding, he complimented the “can-do” attitude of all the 350 crew members, many of whom have been with the ship for years now.

Health & Fitness – or the need to be? Before or after swimming in the pools, try a workout at Mussel Beach, the on-board gym where you can pedal, pump or run off that last meal. Afterwards, reward yourself with a massage or other full-service spa service in the Fountain of Youth Spa and Salon.

Plenty to do for the family – The ship has three separate daily schedules of activities for children. Junior Cruisers (ages 3-9) get together in the Island Coconut Club while their older counterparts (ages 10 to 13) have the Club Wave for their activities. Teenagers (14 to 17) get their own area in the Open Water Club. They all seem to enjoy the 180’ water slide on the stern of the ship.

Shore excursions – In addition to the option of spending the day at the Our Lucaya Beach Resort, you also could try glass bottom boat tours, snorkeling, swimming with the dolphins, a city tour or what I’ll be trying next, the “Ultimate Eco-Tour on Horseback.” There you’ll ride through the endangered pine forest, emerging onto the beach with an opportunity to  ride out in the waves on your stead.

IN CONCLUSION

Somehow the Caribbean Cruise Line has done what most frugal travelers have only dreamed of…combining good food, good staff and a great cruise to a desirable destination for a most modest fee.

Prices change with seasons and availability, so be sure to verify pricing with the cruise line or your travel agent.

Hope On Water: Caribbean Cruise Line’s Program For Families Battling Pediatric Cancer

Caribbean Cruise Line ReviewIn late 2009, Caribbean Cruise Line began partnering with the Children Battling Cancer Foundation to offer free monthly all expense paid cruises.  We review one story today.

“We are so grateful to Children Battling Cancer and Caribbean Cruise Line for their kindness and generosity to our family. It was so nice to get away with other families that are also struggling with the reality of childhood cancer and just enjoy a relaxing time together. You made us feel so pampered and special in every way. My husband and I were especially impressed with the love and care that was shown to our four children. It was great to see them laughing and having fun together.”

Thank you! The Blakemore Family, Gainesville, FL

Caribbean Cruise Line is proud to be a part of this campaign to offer children battling cancer and their families a free all expense paid cruise each and every month.

Caribbean Cruise Line tailor makes each cruise to the particular needs of each family considering their own particular circumstances, the size of the family, the age of the children, and more.

Caribbean Cruise Line and The Children Battling Cancer Foundation hope to alleviate some of the day to day stress these children and their families must face every day.  Caribbean Cruise Line is hopeful that these families have the chance to relax and to enjoy a break from life while at the same time building important fun memories.

Caribbean Cruise Line and The Children Battling Cancer Foundation have been offering these all expense paid cruises for over a year now and look forward to a long and meaningful partnership moving forwards.

The Children Battling Cancer Foundation And Caribbean Cruise Line “Hope On Water” Program

Recently, the Children Battling Cancer Foundation and Caribbean Cruise Line have Partnered to give free cruises to families with children suffering from cancer.

The Children Battling Cancer Foundation and Caribbean Cruise Line have been offering free cruises once a month to the families of children battling cancer.  This program was begun in late 2009 along with the help of Caribbean Cruise Line, along with their Bahamas Celebration Ship.

Knowing the stress that both the children battling cancer and their families can often undergo on a daily basis, each Hope On Water Experience is a tailor made cruise considering the age of the child and siblings and the overall size of the family.  Families need a chance to relax and to create happy memories while undergoing the rigors of treatment and Caribbean Cruise Line is proud to assist.

Caribbean Cruise Line And The Children Battling Cancer Foundation Partner To Create “Hope On Water”

Caribbean Cruise Line Review Children Battling CancerCaribbean Cruise Line has partnered with the Children Battling Cancer Foundation to create Hope On Water for families suffering from pediatric cancer

Since December of 2009, Caribbean Cruise Line has partnered with The Children Battling Cancer Foundation to create their “Hope On Water” campaign.

Each month, Caribbean Cruise Lines sends a child with cancer along with his or her family on an all expense paid vacation cruise on its Bahamas Celebration ship.  These cruises become much more than a mere vacation for families facing illness and the leading cause of death in children, pediatric cancer.  For them these wonderful Caribbean Cruises are an opportunity to create quality family time and to build fond memories at a time when hope can seem so far away.

The mission of the Children Battling Cancer Foundation is to “bridge the gap between the community and families battling childhood cancer by raising awareness within the community while bringing practical help and lasting hope directly to the families of childhood cancer.” The Children Battling Cancer Foundation and Caribbean Cruise Line understands that when confronted with a diagnosis of pediatric cancer, the entire family suffers and not just the child facing the disease.  This is why the Hope On Water program is so very important.

Caribbean Cruise Line staff makes sure that the siblings and parents are treated with the upmost care and concern to insure they have some much needed relaxation and fun while aboard the ship.  To assist in this, each Hope On Water trip is tailor made to insure the individual needs of the child and family are carefully considered.  Caribbean Cruise Lines, along with Children Battling Cancer, consider the age of the child and siblings, the size of the family and other factors when creating each Hope On Water Experience to insure everyone has the dream vacation cruise of a lifetime.

The joys and memories made on these trips help offset the painfully real and burdensome days these children and their families face each and every day and Caribbean Cruise Line is proud to do its part.

Caribbean Cruise Line Scam Watch Guide for Casino Vacations

Caribbean Cruise Line Scam Watch knows that gambling is serious business, that while at a casino travel destination you need to be alert to possible travel scams and knowing a few valuable casino tips can easily boost your odds of winning.

Caribbean Cruise Line Scam Watch is pleased to present to you 5 easy to use casino tricks that are sure to increase your odds of winning! Casinos are in the business of taking your money, and the purpose of these Caribbean Cruise Line Reviews is to show you how you can turn the odds in your favor when on a gambling vacation.

1. Be skilled at the game you are playing

It has been proven time and again that the player with the most knowledge has the best luck with winning while on a gambling vacation. Research the games you will be playing at your casino destination ahead of time, never jump into a game unless you have observed it being played and have learned how to play it, remember to ask the dealer to explain anything you do not understand.

2. Do not be reckless with your money

Before you leave your luxury accommodation and head out to the casino decide how much money you are going to budget for the evening and stick to it.

3. Maintain a low profile

As there is a lot of money floating around at casinos and other gambling vacation destinations, there can be a certain unsavory element around. When winning be sure to keep a low profile and avoid telling anyone how you are doing, do not wave around a big wad of cash, and if you do have substantial winnings lock them up with the casino cashier until you are ready to depart.

4. Never drink while gambling

Alcohol impairs your judgment making you more prone to becoming reckless while enjoying your casino vacation. As tempting as they may seem, the free drinks offered by casinos and other gambling destinations are the casinos’ chief weapon against you.

5. Over confidence is your enemy

Over confidence kills. If you are winning bit, do not become reckless, throwing caution to the wind and beginning to take high risks. Remember to gamble with your head and do not become a slave to your emotions and the excitement of the moment.

Caribbean Cruise Line Reviews are here to assist you with planning your next gambling vacation getaway.
